About Michael
One chair, and your hair gets the whole appointment.
Michael Farris has spent years on one kind of work: natural and textured hair. He works alone in a private suite, so when you sit down he is not splitting his attention between you and three other clients. He looks at your hair before he touches it, tells you what it needs, and will not push a service you did not come in for. Some clients have been in his chair for more than eight years.

Every service starts with a look at your hair and scalp. If it needs something else first, you will hear that before anything gets started.

Silk press
Straight, glossy, and light enough to swing. He controls the heat so the press holds up and your curls come back when you wash.

Full weave and sew-in
Flat, secure installs with a hairline that looks like yours. Nobody should be able to tell where your hair stops.

Extensions, lace fronts and wig install
Blended, cut to suit your face, and secured well enough that you forget about it.

Braids
Box braids, knotless and cornrows, for women, men and kids. Clean parts, even tension, and edges left alone.

Color and balayage
Custom color on textured hair without frying it, including corrections when someone else got it wrong.

Treatments and straightening
Keratin, scalp and hair treatments, permanent straightening, and a plan for your hair between visits.
